Recent large-scale disasters made more and more people realize the importance of the disaster emergency communication systems. And the need for new technology of ad hoc network is fairly urgent, because it is free of infrastructure which is easy to be destroyed by disaster. But before large-scale deployment of this emerging network in emergency communication systems, its reliability should be validated strictly. As a part of mission of advanced metrology for information technology, we analyze all of main influencing factors for reliability of ad hoc network, and develop test system for measuring, testing the ad hoc terminal produces and evaluating their reliability comprehensively.
