Real time available-to-promise (ATP) system is an important enterprise management tool which directly influences company performance such as customer service and enterprise profit. Therefore, this study investigates a real time ATP model that has been established based on our collaborative manufacturing system (CMS) lab. An ant colony optimization based dynamic promising rule (ACO-DPR) is proposed to solve the real time ATP model. A case study is done to prove the validity of ACO-DPR, and the result indicate that ATP system is a worth tool.
