A geometric method of bubble volume computing based on 2-D high-speed image were introduced in this paper. An ellipsoid was constructed with three semi-axis extracted from bubble image. The volume of ellipsoid is approximately equal to the size of bubble. Correction methods are also described for error reducing. The feasibility and universal applicability of the geometric method have been verified by volume contrast and standard deviation analysis. Finally, gas volume fraction in two-phase flow can be calculated.
