The authors have taken the performance evaluation of the ATM-Multiplexor in the B-ISDN using a simulation package, instead of a simulation language, to take its many advantages of simplifying the modeling process. Several examples demonstrate the usefulness of the model and give an insight into the cell stream's burstiness and intensity, both of which are determinant for the QOS analysis
