A study of protocol latency on token ring networks

One of the key elements in network performance studies has always been locating the bottleneck of network traffic. This forms the basis for realistic modelling of actual peer to peer information transfer. This paper concentrates on the latency effect on network performance based on a PC driven Token Ring model.
