Decision-makers' weights and the criteria's weights were incompletely certain or completely unknown in special fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making problems with linguistic assessments, therefore satisfaction was introduced as the weighted element to build new formula to determine the attribute weights. A new two-tuple linguistic weighting arithmetic average algorithm based on satisfaction (T-WAA-S) was proposed to deal with the fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making problems. Finally, T-WAA-S algorithm was applied to resolve the design proposal optimization of face gear driving with a high contact ratio. Compared with the normal LOWA algorithm, the proposed algorithm's characteristics cover the decision-makers' subjective attitude and expectation. The value of the corresponding weights is achieved through the new algorithm in an effective manner.
