Recent progress in U.S. millimeter wave spectrum management policy

This paper describes recent actions by the Federal Communications Commission to establish routine rules for the commercial use of frequencies above 40 GHz. These rules will enable the development and sale of new products in this spectrum which will pioneer the commercial use of the millimeter wave region.
