Mobile agent was applied to solve dynamic service problems in GIS. GIS dynamic services model based on mobile agent was introduced. The principle and the implementation technology of dynamic service were expatiated, especially creation and transfer of GIS Agent, components loading, interaction and integration between GISAgent. The transfer of functional components was substituted for the transfer of a great deal of spatial data. The computing efficiency in distributed network was improved, to meliorate the bottleneck problem in spatial data processing.
