Single phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating as an all-optical Hilbert transformer

We propose and numerically demonstrate a simple all-optical Hilbert transformer design based on a specially-apodized fiber Bragg grating (FBG) with a single pi phase shift, providing operation bandwidths up to a few hundreds of GHz.
