Khongthong, R. ; Electr. Generating Authority of Thailand, Thailand

The continuous expansion of the Thai economy over several years has put the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) on alert to the more careful planning of the power operation, expansion and development of power technology. Demand for power both quantity and quality are increasing as customer operation becomes more sensitive to fluctuation and disruption. It is necessary for EGAT to improve power system reliability in order to meet all customer demand, both quantity and quality, which contributes to the nation's investment.
