Transformation properties of magnetic field expansion coefficients from spherical to Cartesian coordinates are given. Since the expansions are equivalent because they satisfy the Laplace equation, the transformation is unique. Spherical‐to‐Cartesian and Cartesian‐to‐spherical transformations are listed to fifth order.
