In order to play a more effective role of modern distance education in public education service and promote the healthy development of modern distance education more effectively, a modern distance education public service supporting system based on problem solving is put forward, through organic integration and full use of modern information technology and management technology. This supporting system has the characteristics of resource allocation balancing, paying attention to special group, being interactive, open, monitoring and sustainable. The construction of this supporting system will provide important assurance for the improvement of public service level and quality.
