The paper deals with the metrological characterization of a smart wireless device for the measurement of thrust, speed and mechanical power on linear induction motors (LIMs). The measuring equipment is described presenting the solutions adopted for the realizations of the prototype. The metrological characterization tests have shown good accuracy and high response time for both thrust and speed measurement. The paper is completed with experimental results obtained by applying the measuring device on an actual motor
