In this paper, Multi-Agent technology is applied to urban traffic signal control, a distributed urban traffic signal control system taking Urban Traffic Signal Control Agent at an intersection as an control node is proposed, a Traffic Signal Control Agent model is designed, the communication and coordination model between these traffic signal control Agent is also studied.
