The traffic generator is a necessary tool for testing next generation wireless broadband communication system. MSTG, a multi-service traffic generator for testing next generation wireless broadband communication system, is presented in this paper. To meet the requirements of testing next generation wireless broadband communication system, a novel architecture of traffic generator who can generate multi-service traffic is designed and shown. And the key problems related to the design of multi-service traffic generator are fully discussed. The evaluation results show that MSTG is a high-performance and powerful traffic generator for testing next generation wireless broadband communication system.
