A simple and efficient numerical implementation of the well-conditioned electric field integral equation (WEFIE) is presented in this paper. It has been proven that the well-conditioned property of the WEFIE can be maintained in this numerical implementation. Numerical experiments demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the presented implementation approach. The numerical performance of the WEFIE for open bodies is also presented.
