In the present work the thrust force obtained from the unzipping of a dsDNA has been calculated. Utilizing the force hysteresis pattern obtained during unzipping and rezipping of a dsDNA and the calculated thrust force, a feasible DNA based hybrid bio-mechanical actuator model has been proposed which is considered for usage for locomotion of nanorobots in a liquid medium.
