In recent five years there are extensive gold exploration activities and some ores bodies are discovered in Gold occurrence area in Western China, which shows the great potential for finding new mines in the surrounding areas. The multispecral TM data are used in order to find some new clues in the vast rock bearing areas for field reconnaissance. The more effective MPH technique is adopted and used in our image processing.
