RoF cell-cluster architecture in WDM/TDM hybrid-PON for train communication system

When today's commuters in the train want to access broadband multimedia services. However, the classical solutions such as WLAN and UMTS are not sufficient to provide a high bandwidth to train users. In this paper, we discuss the RoF cell-cluster architecture in WDM/TDM hybrid-PON for train users. Also, we propose RoF cell-cluster architecture concept that can reduce the optical switching times and enlarge the coverage length of service.
