Based on the characteristics of coal mine safety information - activity, dynamic changes, closely related to the space, this paper puts forward the project about the safety monitoring system of coal mine based on spatial data mining ,and builds a coal mine safety monitoring system model based on spatial data mining and GIS technology. The safety monitoring system of coal mine will fundamentally reduce the occurrence of coal mine disasters, and improve the level of coal mine safety management.
