A design of dual-band H-shaped microstrip-line-fed printed wide-slot antenna

A new practical of wide-slot antenna cut in the ground plane with H-shaped microstrip-line-fed is proposed, Two different size of slots are cut in each side of the ground plane in order to generate new band. The antenna covers 780MHz–990MHz and 1.69GHz–2.65GHz (VSWR≤2). So it can apply for AMPS, GSM, DCS, PCS, UMTS and WLAN. The peak gain of this antenna is 2.5dB in 900MHz and 5.6bB in 2.0GHz.
