The main purpose of game-based learning is to provide student with a learning environment which can make them learn in joy, the game can arouse studentspsila enthusiasm in knowledge inquiry. In this paper, we introduced the game-based networked learning communities, which is a virtual schools based on network technology, virtual reality and game technology. We made an analysis of the characteristics of the learning community, discussed the design of the mechanism of thematic games in game-based networked learning community according to the characteristics, and make a real integration between games and education.
