Adaptive wavelet domain filtering techniques are used for interference excision in spread spectrum communication systems to immunize the receiver to a large class of jammers, specifically those with burst energy characteristics. A fast wavelet transform along with the sparse structure of the transform-domain correlation matrix can be used to speed up the convergence. We present the adaptive wavelet transform baseband receiver and delineate its properties and performance
