We demonstrate 1times4 InGaAsP/InP optical waveguide multimode interference (MMI) switch. Typical values for output power variation for each output port, crosstalk, extinction ratio, rise time, and fall time of switching were plusmn14 %, -14.47 dB, 23.39 dB, 680 ps and 440 ps, respectively. In addition, we present the demonstration of error-free switching operation.
