In this paper.a wireless sensor network node hardware and software implementation is introduced based on the top grade 8-bit AVR micro-processor ATmegal28L and 2.4 GHz wireless communication chip CC2431. To avoid the shortage of TinyOS, an improved task schedule flow is introduced. Some sensors are used to provide necessary sensing ability. Proper protocols are adopted in MAC and network layers to form reliable wireless communication. Experiment shows that the node work effective and stability in data acquisition and owns good communication and power management.
