Short description of FPGAs and their CAD tools Design methodology issues: Algorithm refinement (sampling, quantization effects) Modularity (library of IP blocks) Systematic search for the best compromise between control performances and architectural constraints (see A3 section) Overview of contributions and limits of FPGAs has been proposed.
