In this paper, we propose a performance analysis model to analyze the joint effects of queueing and adaptive transmission in multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems. We analyze various performance measures of the queueing model proposed and based on these measures, we provide a new model for adaptive modulation and space time block codes in MIMO Nakagami fading channels. We also provide numerical results under various system parameters.
