The general equations for the analysis of transient waveforms on a system of coupled lossless transmission lines are presented. Using these equations, the matching networks required to minimise the effects of crosstalk and reflections are derived. Alternatively, it is possible to establish the degree of crosstalk and reflection that will occur for a given matching network. Results of a computer simulation of a system of coupled transmission lines are presented to illustrate the effects of various matching conditions
