A new implementation of isotropic quadratic fillers using the Walsh-Hadamard transform (WHT) is proposed. A new formulation of the filter kernel using the WHT is first presented. A running WHT algorithm to reduce the computational cost is then described. Experimental results show that by using the WHT, the computational complexity of the adaptive isotropic quadratic filter is considerably reduced and the convergence rate of this filter is also significantly improved
