Study on Information Sharing Platform of Distributed Transportation Monitoring Systems Based on Interoperability and Internet

Integrated traffic information sharing and uniform management has achieved more and more attention in China, for most of transportation monitoring systems belongs to different management departments, so information of them can not be shared by common, even of one road. Each monitoring system can be viewed as an isolated information island, and this phenomenon cannot be changed by gigantic investment. In this paper, by applying ideas and methods of system analysis and integration, we put forward a platform-designing scheme based on Internet as data transmission carrier and interoperability as database operation method, and with this, we can realize information sharing of separated monitoring systems through Internet.
