In this paper, a Zigbee based electronics ballast system is proposed. The presented system consists of a digitally-controlled electronics ballast for TS fluorescent lamp, a Zigbee based DAM (digitally addressable lighting interface) bridge module for wireless control and a graphical user interface (GUI) for inputting the control parameters. A developed prototype system will be presented in this paper and experimental results will be provided to verify the correctness of the proposed system.
