We implemented a power saving mechanism hierarchical GAF (HGAF) on MICAz-Motes. HGAF introduces a layered structure into GAF (geographic adaptive fidelity) which uses location information of nodes in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for grouping of nodes. We demonstrate HGAF operation with the implementation on MICAz-Motes.
