Military information network (MIN) is the guarantee of obtaining information superiority. So it is important to analyze and assess the effectiveness of military information network and its contribution to achieve information superiority. According to the requirements of the information battlefield, the paper sets up evaluation model of military information system based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and gray system theory. Then, basic procedures and algorithmic method of the model are presented. As an example, mobile communications system effectiveness of three war zones are evaluated and compared, some key factors impacted on system effectiveness are found.
