A delay-dependent robust Hinfin static output feedback control problem for a class of T-S time-varying delay fuzzy systems where uncertainties come into the state and input matrices is presented. A sufficient condition that the closed-loop systems is robust asymptotically stable is derived via Lyapunov-Krasovkii functional (LKF), fuzzy free-weighting matrices and the parallel distributed compensation (PDC). The controller involves solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In comparison with the existing literatures, the drawbacks existing in the previous papers such as coordinate transformations, same output matrices and BMI problem have been eliminated. Finally, simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
