In this paper, we propose a WPAN platform architecture integrating cellular network and WPAN, and we present illustrative services of the platform. In contrast with the existing handsets adopting WPAN technologies, the proposed platform focuses on wireless communication service development considering the full connection between cellular networks and WPAN. In terms of the applicability, mobile game and voice terminal implementation are discussed.
