WSN using ZigBee is gaining an exponentially increasing interest from industry and is considered as a universal solution for emerging application including home automation, health care, surveillance, and so on. To provide automation and remote control application service, WSN is inter-working with high speed Internet through Gateway-Sink node. In this paper, we first introduce service network, then discuss inter-working problems, and propose our scheme to solve these problems. The proposed scheme includes the aspects of Gateway-Sink node's hardware and software architecture, the method how to increase throughput, decrease delay, and prevent network fail by beacon loss.
