Bused on the analysis of other color image enhancement methods, the HSV color space is chosen. An adaptive color image enhancement algorithm is presented according to the human visual properties in HSV space. Hue is kept unchanged in order to avoid color distorting or shifting. Compared with other algorithms, the experimental results show that the enhanced color image has more rich color, more clear details and better visual effect.
