This paper presents a three-phase single-stage active power factor correction (APFC) converter which is based on full-bridge structure and uses a simple circuit structure. It operates in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM), the peak of input current follows the input voltage automatically. The electrical isolation between input and output sides and output voltage regulation can be achieved as well as power factor correction. The soft-switching of four switches are realized without adding any auxiliary device. Some introduction and analysis about the main circuit topology, working principle has been given in this paper, and a kind of control strategy which is suitable for the requirements of the given converter has been presented. Finally, the analysis on this converter has been verified through experimental results.
