This paper presents a dynamic interface activation scheme for making vertical handoff decisions. Interface activating interval is intelligently adjusted according to the actually varying network conditions. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposal succeeds in trading off between interfacespsila activating interval against deciding timeliness.
