There are a lot of advantages in a power bridge using a current comparator, such as for can be the structure concise, the limitation of the number of error factors etc. However, a small problem might be left about a point how carry out the calibration of the comparator. This problem is settled immediately if the comparator could be replaced with a current transformer. Therefore it is assumed that the current comparator is placed as the primary standard and the CT is an instrument of under-test in a traceability style. Because the uncertainty of the CT does not exceed the comparator, the uncertainty of the power bridge in which the CT installed replaced by the comparator will be inferior more than traditional power bridge. However, the current transformer is a standard that is necessary and is indispensable to the electric power and energy measurement system, and it is easy to become familiar the traceability. In addition, it is expected that the width of the design that specializes in the performances such as reducing the error or expanding the frequency response extends, and the evaluation of the uncertainty for the power standard is simplified if the CT utilized in the power bridge. We propose the use of the CT for the power bridge with no burden.
