We demonstrate fast photorefractive two-wave mixing with a cw-laser at the telecommunication wavelength 1.55 mum for the first time in a bulk ferroelectric crystal (Sn2P2S6:Te). A high gain (6 cm-1) was achieved without applying an external E-field.
