While information and communication technologies are being widely used in healthcare domain to treat diseases, now it is also the time for applying those technologies to support preventative care for healthy populations. In this paper, we are going to share our experiences from the practice of building a behavior change application system called wellness diary system by using both Web and mobile technologies. The system targets at both healthy populations and healthcare professionals providing services. This paper not only aims for sharing the experiences, but also intends to discuss some foreseen challenges and opportunities that will have important impacts on the further of the system.
