In this paper, we propose a novel method to generate free viewpoint image in circular camera setup. The proposed method is based on the Ray-Space method, and we can generate a free viewpoint image from the Ray-Space which is not dense enough by interpolation techniques. In a past method [1], a captured image is regarded as an orthographic image to simplify the interpolation process. However, this is an approximate means, and does not work in the case that an object is big compared to a circle or the object is not at the center of a circle. In contrast, the proposed method can be applied to the case of perspective camera model by analyzing the trajectory of a ray in the Ray Space. In experiment with a real sequence captured at every 6 or 12 degrees, we set the virtual camera at user's choice and generated the image from that viewpoint successfully.
