In this paper, we present images of light emission by the plasma in a planar dielectric-barrier glow discharge in pure neon. The images have been obtained using an intensified charge-coupled device digital camera at nanosecond exposure time. The time-dependence discharge images for lower and higher frequency at a constant voltage are presented.
