Quality of service maintenance is one of the key tasks in mixed service UMTS networks. In this paper, an algorithm for capacity dimensioning is proposed to assure the quality of different services provided in the network. The algorithm allows to determine the highest allowable cell capacity under the various quality of service requirements and cell throughput conditions.
