In this paper, we investigate digital fountain code for the purpose of reducing feedback from the receivers in broadcast network. First, we focus on exploring an effective method to recover the packets received at the receiver's end. We present a cumulative scheme in the paper. The result shows that this scheme is superior to traditional ARQ scheme. Second, we analyze the tradeoff between throughput and delay when applying the cumulative scheme, adding with burst data stream. Stimulations are done for both analyses to testify our conclusions.
