Estimation to the point spread function (PSF) of an imaging system is a highly demanded technique, and it plays an important role in the process of image restoration. Based on the implementation of a planar-scanning passive millimeter-wave (PMMW) imaging system which operates at W-band, the imaging model is described and parameters estimation to the PSF of the imaging system is carried out with the method of a priori blur identification. The experiment results validate the fact that the quality of the restoration to the images, which are acquired by the PMMW imaging system in a RF anechoic chamber, has been improved with the estimated PSF.
