Semantic Web services, often called as intelligent Web services, first introduced by McIlrith et al., (2001), enables Web services to be intelligent using ontologies which play an important role as metadata for inferencing in semantic Web. Such intelligent Web services include automatic services' publication, discovery and execution. The decentralized structure together with semantic Web services makes peer-to-peer network a promising model for effective multimedia-based services searching. Three main features of P2P-based semantic multimedia Web service discovery model are 1) semantic supported multimedia services is provided 2) peers are organized into several parts according to the similarity of ontologies which belong to different topics 3) intelligently adapt multimedia resources according to the client's needs.
