The power line carrier (PLC) communication control module is described. This module, which supports physical and data link layers, is based on the Japanese technical standard for a low-speed system. It provides useful functions for composing a home control system. All the circuits of the module are included in one compact (58 mm×38 mm) hybrid integrated circuit.
