In this paper, based on the concept of human adaptive mechatronics (HAM), quantification of the skill level, which is necessary to construct the operation support system, is analyzed by using hovercraft manipulation test. Generally, operation of dynamical mechatronics systems is difficult because operators should learn their dynamics. In this research, the line tracking experiment is conducted with the hovercraft to which it has dynamics and the dynamic characteristic is hardly known. The main results of this study are that the skill level can be quantified at the evaluation of line tracking accuracy and that the task achievement time and that the slipping corner in the curve is generated in the factors to enhance skill in the bell curve.
